G&A Mamidakis Foundation (Greece)
The G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to support and promote contemporary art and culture and aid lifelong learning and the transmission of knowledge to future generations. Guided by these principles, the Foundation promotes the Greek cultural heritage and supports the development, production, dissemination, and preservation of cultural and artistic initiatives, especially in the fields of cultural heritage, festivals, and visual arts.
WHW (Croatia)
What, How & for Whom/WHW (established in Zagreb in 1999) is a curatorial collective based in Zagreb, Vienna and Berlin, and, whose members are Ivet Ćurlin, Ana Dević, Nataša Ilić and Sabina Sabolović, along with designer and publicist Dejan Kršić.
Since 2003 WHW has been running the program of Gallery Nova, a gallery in Zagreb. In 2018 it launched an independent international study program for emerging artists called WHW Akademija, based in Zagreb. Since 2019 members of the collective Ivet Ćurlin, Nataša Ilić and Sabina Sabolović work as artistic directors of Kunsthalle Wien.
WHW continues working in Zagreb where activities are led by Ana Dević in collaboration with curator Ana Kovačić, financial and EU projects manager Gordana Borić and program associate Sara Mikelić as members of Zagreb WHW team.
Idensitat (Spain)
Idensitat is a collective art project which experiments with means of creating social spaces. Idensitat acts as a system incorporating several projects, activities, and processes, expanding through different contexts. A system based on dynamic strategies in social space, through research, production, and educational and collaborative activities. Some of those activities has the purpose of providing means for the development of creative projects in public space, in relation to the urban context, and of stimulating creative practices that explore new forms of involvement and social participation, in collaboration with artists and social groups. State of Concept Athens (Greece)
State of Concept Athens is a non-profit contemporary art institution founded in 2013 by art critic and curator iLiana Fokianaki and based in the neighbourhood of Koukaki at the centre οf Athens. It is an independent platform that fosters the appreciation for local and international contemporary art and the growth of artistic and curatorial practice. State of Concept hosts exhibitions, public programs, events and workshops, and offers free one-to-one tutorials to artists and students throughout the year. It has been collaborating with institutions abroad, with exhibitions and other parts of our program traveling to Amsterdam, Ljubljana, New York, Paris, Rotterdam, among other places.
Centre for New Media and Feminist Public Practices (Greece).
The Centre of New Media and Feminist Public Practices is a research unit of the University of Thessaly, Greece, dedicated to art, feminism, technology and technique, public space and public sphere. It explores the relationships between the above in the form of dynamic feminist discourses, works of art and design, publications and pedagogies intertwining theory and practice. Research conducted by CNMFPP focuses on local experiences and struggles within the globalized imperative while it is situated within an epistemic perspective dedicated to gender, social, cultural and environmental justice. CNMFPP was created in 2018 with the support of the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I), the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI), the Department of Architecture of University of Thessaly. CNMFPP has developed a collaborative network with social groups, research bodies and institutions and is partner in various international research programs.
